Company Background
Critical Tools, Inc., founded in 1991, makes and distributes the popular project management software applications, WBS Chart Pro and PERT Chart EXPERT.
Critical Tools, Inc. is a Microsoft Certified Partner. In addition, Critical Tools has fulfilled all requirements and is active in the ISV/Software Solutions Competency of the Microsoft Certified Partner program. As part of this process, Critical Tools' software was independently tested and certified. Testing was conducted independently by VeriTest, a testing service of Lionbridge Technologies.
Currently there are over 20,000 different companies and more than 500,000 users, all around the world, using WBS Chart Pro and PERT Chart EXPERT, including:

About the ProductsWBS Chart Pro was first released in February of 1994, originally named WBS Chart for Project. Version 4.0, released in August 2000, was renamed WBS Chart Pro to reflect the fact that it was no longer just an add-on to Microsoft Project but could also be used as standalone planning software.
We are currently shipping WBS Chart Pro version 4.7, released on January 10th, 2008.
PERT Chart EXPERT version 1.0 was released in early 1996 followed by versions 1.2 and 1.5 over the next few years. PERT Chart EXPERT Version 2.0 was released in October, 2001.
We are currently shipping PERT Chart EXPERT version 2.6, released on January 10th, 2008.
